Melinda has extensive experience in software development, technical management, engineering process development, assessment and improvement, and general organization. Melinda is currently active in test engineering and SQA at ComGlobal Systems, Inc. She is also co-founder and a managing partner of Morashah Needle Arts, LLC. Prior positions included management positions and senior technical positions in telecommunications and aerospace companies including Kestrel Solutions, CWA, (acquired by Kestrel), Boeing North American, Rockwell (acquired by Boeing), GTE and Hughes. As a technical contributor, Melinda's experience includes software engineering from concept through deployment of real-time embedded systems as well as medium and large scale systems in ultra-high reliability and integrity applications. She has also worked extensively with web development technologies, developing retail e-commerce solutions. Melinda's organizational skills, attention to detail, infectious enthusiasm and tenacous commitment to excellence make her a talented hands-on project and people manager. She has managed cross-functional teams, initiated and executed engineering process assessment and improvement, and ISO certification of engineering process and organizations.
Melinda has worked on several Blind Creek projects, including the "School Time" system, for which she was software architect and lead implementer. Most recently she created and maintains the retail sales system for Morashah, as well as being active as a creative contributor for Morashah products. Melinda serves as an advisor on process, strategic and logistics planning for all Blind Creek operations.
